Is Nutrixe really free?

Yes. The scanner, the verdict and the map of 3,274 places are free and unlimited, with no account and no ads. A premium subscription adds offline use, travel lists, the notebook and themes; nothing you need to eat safely is paid.

Do I need an account to use the app?

No. The app asks for no e-mail and no password, and nothing is sent to a server beyond the scan and map requests. Your scans and favourites stay on your phone.

How are the places verified?

By hand, one by one, cross-checking several sources: the venue's website, specialist directories, reviews from coeliac diners and certifications where they exist. Each listing shows what was verified, what was not, and the date.

What does "100% gluten-free" mean on a listing?

That the kitchen is fully dedicated: no wheat, rye or barley flour enters the premises. It is the only level suitable for a coeliac with no questions to ask. "Gluten-free menu" and "options" flag a mixed kitchen, with the risks named on the listing.

Which countries and languages?

The map covers 16 countries, from France to the United States by way of Italy, Spain, Brazil and Argentina. The website and the app come in six languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and German.

Can I suggest a place or report an error?

Yes, from the website or the app. Every suggestion is read by a person before publication, with the same verification as any other listing; a reported error is corrected on the listing, not just noted.
